The Roles I Was Born To Play!
THE PEOPLE-PLEASING GOOD GIRL
She’s here to serve you, whatever you need. Helpful, eager, and responsible, she's the epitome of the teacher’s pet. She’ll happily wash your car, take out the trash, clean the litter box, do your taxes, and alphabetize your spice rack all before lunch, which she’s also made for you. Your needs come first and she has no needs other than to make you happy.
Example: Janet from “The Good Place”
THE AGGRESSIVELY DETERMINED
She’s ambitious AF and ready to win at all costs. She’s hellbent for glory and will stop at nothing to achieve her goals. If you’re not helping her, you’re in her way and you better watch your back. She follows the rules to a T and will disqualify you for a typo on your form. She doesn’t care about being liked. Her only friend is power.
Examples: Tracy Flick from “Election”,
Diane from “Black-ish"
THE QUIET AND PASSIVE DOOR MAT
She’s stuck in a dead end job that she hates where no one ever acknowledges her, but the place would fall apart without her. She’s basically furniture. She knows everyone’s birthday and gets the cake for the office party, but the boss always gets the credit. She will always drive you to the airport if you ask, but would really rather not. She struggles to find her voice and is uncomfortable standing up for herself.
Examples: Pam from “The Office”,
Ryan Reynolds in “The Proposal”
